Christin Nichole Adams, Mrs. Southwest Michigan 2019, is a college instructor for Western Michigan University and Lake Michigan College, Licensed Social Worker, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Christin is supported by her husband of 12 years, Joe Adams. Together, they are the parents of their 6 year-old-son, Clayton and 2-year-old daughter, Elise. Christin is a studied Ballet Dancer and enjoys dancing and entertaining.

Christin began working in the field of Social Work in 2006. The nature of her career has given her a strong passion for her platform addiction. It is Christin’s hope to provide more education to our community members regarding what makes addiction a disease and how we as a community can help prevent this disease from claiming the life of another family’s loved one and another community member.

Christin is a graduate of Coloma High School, Lake Michigan College, Siena Heights University and Western Michigan University. Christin currently works for Spectrum Health Lakeland.

Christin is enthusiastic to begin her year of service as Mrs. Southwest Michigan. Her goal is to make a positive impact on others. She looks forward to a year filled with hard work and dedication bringing awareness to disease of addiction and the strong survivors of this disease in the recovery communities.
